Book this experience →

Dzibilchaltun is a large Mayan archaeological site near Merida featuring a central plaza, sacbe trails, the Temple of the Dolls with its astronomically-aligned doorways, and Cenote Xlakah—a 44-meter-deep freshwater pool where visitors can swim. The site uniquely contains both Mayan structures and a 16th-century Spanish Franciscan chapel built among the ruins, with an on-site museum displaying artifacts and carved dolls from both cultures.
