The Regional Museum occupies a newly-reconstructed Baroque building of the former Jesuit High School and houses exhibits on the history of Český Krumlov and its surroundings. The centerpiece is a detailed ceramic model of Český Krumlov's old town built to 1:200 scale, depicting about 800 structures and covering 26 hectares as the town appeared around 1800. The museum also includes the Memorial Birth House of writer Adalbert Stifter in Horní Planá.
