The Writers' Museum celebrates the lives of Robert Burns, Sir Walter Scott, and Robert Louis Stevenson through portraits, rare books, and personal objects housed in a 17th-century townhouse. Visitors can view Burns' writing desk, Scott's rocking horse, Stevenson's riding boots, first editions, manuscripts, and artifacts including a plaster cast of Burns' skull and the printing press used for Scott's Waverley Novels.
