
Zlatá Koruna is a Cistercian monastery situated on a headland surrounded by the Vltava river, featuring a three-aisled basilica church and Gothic convent buildings constructed from the 13th to 17th centuries. Visitors can tour the monastery's architectural complex including the convent church, cloister, and chapel of Guardian Angels, view the permanent exhibition on Literature in South Bohemia, and examine significant Gothic architectural features such as wheel-windows and carved portals created by master builder Michal Parléř.
