Current Crown & Anchor thresholds haven’t moved
Gold still starts at 3 points. Platinum at 30. Emerald at 55. Diamond — the tier where the free drinks, Crown Lounge access, and priority perks actually matter — lands at 80. Diamond Plus requires 175, and Pinnacle Club remains a brutal 700.
Double points slashes the calendar time. A Platinum member needing 50 more points for Diamond normally requires 50 nights. With this promo, it’s 25 nights. If you’re within 30–40 points of Diamond, this is a no-brainer. Two seven-night sailings in a balcony get you most of the way there while delivering real onboard value on the current trip. Diamond Plus hopefuls should target suites or solo occupancy to maximize the multiplier. Pinnacle chasers will still need volume, but every doubled night is one less 14-night repositioning you have to suffer through later.
If you’re a casual Platinum who likes Royal’s private destinations and doesn’t mind crowds, grab two back-to-back qualifying itineraries and wake up closer to the good stuff. Everyone else can sit this one out — the math isn’t life-changing at the lower tiers.
