Glide along the historic ramparts, waterfront promenades, and hidden bastions of the Royal Naval Dockyard on a guided Segway — the most exhilarating (and surprisingly graceful) way to unlock the fort's 200-year-old secrets.
What to expect
After a brief, intuitive training session, you're gliding effortlessly along the limestone waterfront paths of one of Britain's greatest 19th-century naval fortresses. Your guide brings the history to life — the Dockyard was built by convict labour and once serviced the Royal Navy's entire Western Atlantic fleet. The route winds past the iconic Clocktower Mall, along the sea-wall with sweeping views of the Great Sound, and through the Keep's stone archways. Groups are small (typically 6–8), the pace is convivial, and the photo opportunities are superb. A genuinely joyful way to start a Bermuda day.
Good to know
Departs from within the Dockyard — no transfer needed. Ideal as a first activity right after disembarkation, or to fill a couple of hours elegantly. Weight restrictions apply (typically 100–260 lbs / 45–118 kg); closed-toe shoes required. Pre-book online.
