A slow Zodiac run along the cliffs beneath the albatross colony, watching birds wheel and land at eye level from the water — a totally different vantage than the clifftop walk.
What to expect
Departing from the settlement's cove, the Zodiac hugs the coastline beneath tussac-covered slopes, pausing under the colony for birds returning from fishing trips. Sea lions and occasional Commerson's dolphins are seen along this stretch.
