Peleliu WWII Battlefield: Private Historian-Led Tour

Walk the coral ridges, rusting tanks, and cave bunkers of one of the Pacific War's fiercest battlegrounds with a guide who knows the island's families and its silences.

What to expect

After a scenic boat crossing from Koror, you're met by a guide who leads you through the invasion beaches, Bloody Nose Ridge, and a preserved Japanese command cave still holding wreckage from 1944. Lunch is a simple island meal near the old airfield. The pace is reflective, with long stretches to absorb the landscape's weight rather than rush between stops.

Good to know

Full-day commitment (7-8 hours); confirm this fits your port call, as it's the furthest excursion from Koror. Wear sturdy shoes for uneven coral terrain and bring cash for the small village fee.
