A small-group scuba dive on the volcanic reef walls and drop-offs that Jacques Cousteau once ranked among the world's most beautiful bays.
What to expect
Boats leave from the harbor to nearby sites like Pain de Sucre and Grand Îlet, with volcanic rock formations, swim-throughs, and healthy soft coral in clear, current-light water. Expect turtles, barracuda, and colorful reef fish at depths from 12–30 meters depending on the site and your certification. The dive center is French-run but the instructors are used to English-speaking cruise visitors.
Good to know
Book the morning slot in advance by email/phone; bring your certification card. Dive center is a 5-minute walk from the ferry dock, and morning dives return in good time for reboarding.
