Snorkel the world's first underwater sculpture park — Jason deCaires Taylor's hauntingly beautiful submerged figures off Molinière Bay. A UNESCO-recognised site unlike anything else in the Caribbean.
What to expect
Board a purpose-fitted snorkel vessel from St. George's harbour and cruise north along Grenada's lush coastline to Molinière Bay. Once anchored above the sculptures, a guide briefs you on Taylor's artistic vision and the marine life now thriving around each figure. Beneath the surface, more than 65 life-cast human forms are draped in coral, sponge, and darting reef fish — eerily beautiful and completely unlike any dive or snorkel you've done before. The return leg offers rum punch and a second snorkel stop at a pristine reef.
Good to know
4 hours total; departs from the Carenage (inner harbour), minutes from the cruise pier. Basic snorkel gear included; bring an underwater camera or GoPro. Non-swimmers can view from a glass-bottom section on some vessels — confirm when booking.
