Glide over Princess Cays' living coral reef in a purpose-built glass-bottom boat and watch parrotfish, rays, and tropical corals scroll beneath your feet — no snorkel, no swimsuit required. Effortlessly spectacular.
What to expect
Aboard a purpose-designed vessel with large, angled viewing panels set into the hull, you'll drift over coral gardens alive with the iridescent blues and yellows of Caribbean reef fish. The onboard guide narrates what's passing beneath — pointing out brain coral formations, schooling sergeant majors, the occasional nurse shark resting on the sand, and if you're lucky, a cruising sea turtle. The boat moves slowly and deliberately, pausing over particularly rich sections of reef. Drinks are available on board and the gentle motion makes this suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
Good to know
Excellent for guests who prefer not to snorkel or who are travelling with younger children or elderly family members. Duration roughly 45 minutes to 1 hour. Morning departures offer the calmest seas and best light for underwater viewing. Book ahead — popular with multi-generational groups.
