The world's greatest Impressionist collection and Paris's most glamorous opera house in one expertly curated private day. Stand before Monet, Renoir and Van Gogh, then sweep through the gilded salons and Grand Staircase of the Palais Garnier — Paris at its most refined.
What to expect
Your expert guide meets you in the Musée d'Orsay's soaring former railway station, where natural light pours over Rodin bronzes and a Degas dancer. An unhurried two hours moves from the ground-floor Realists upstairs to the Impressionists and Post-Impressionists — Monet's blue-toned cathedrals, Van Gogh's swirling self-portrait — ending on the café terrace with its iconic clock-face view over the Seine. A short taxi to the 9th arrondissement delivers you to the Palais Garnier, where the Grand Foyer's gilded mirrors and Chagall's ceiling fresco over the auditorium make for extraordinary photographs.
Good to know
Timed-entry slots at the Musée d'Orsay must be pre-booked online; Mondays are closed. Palais Garnier morning visits (10:00–12:30) offer the least congestion. Both are approx. 40 km from Conflans; a private driver for the day runs approx. EUR 350–450 and removes all logistical stress.
