Iceland's most design-forward geothermal spa perches on a dramatic cliff-top above the North Atlantic. The signature Skjól ritual — seven steps from hot pool to sauna to cold plunge to steam and beyond — is a full-sensory Icelandic wellness ceremony.
What to expect
Arrive at a sleek, slate-clad pavilion built into the coastal lava shelf, pick up your Sky package wristband and head straight to the infinite-edge geothermal pool. Work through the Skjól ritual: warm pool, cold mist, sauna with panoramic ocean window, cold plunge, body scrub with Icelandic sea salt, steam room, and a warm shower — finishing with a traditional skyr smoothie at the Gelmir lagoon bar. The ocean horizon feels impossibly close the entire time.
