A curated full-day small-group boat voyage combining the sea caves of Antiparos, a swim at Despotiko's pristine shores, and a long, leisurely seafood lunch at a harborside taverna. Slow travel at its most satisfying.
What to expect
You'll depart Paros's Alyki port aboard a comfortable wooden caïque with a maximum of 20 guests, giving the outing an intimate, house-party feel. The sea caves of Antiparos are a true showstopper — vast caverns whose stalactites have been growing for millennia, accessible only by boat. After swimming off Despotiko's bone-white beach, you sit down to a feast of grilled octopus, fresh fish, and chilled Assyrtiko at a family taverna with a table right on the water. The return sail at golden hour is worth the trip alone.
Good to know
Departs from Alyki port, roughly 10–15 min by taxi from Parikia (the main cruise tender point). Full-day tours run approximately 6 hours — verify your all-aboard time carefully and choose the morning departure. Pre-book online; this sells out weeks ahead in summer.
