Rocket south to the wild Keri headland on a VIP speedboat charter, plunging through sea arches and into vast cathedral-like caves where stalactites drip into turquoise pools, before anchoring off the deserted shores of Turtle Island. The untamed southern coast at its most dramatic.
What to expect
The speedboat weaves along sheer limestone cliffs draped in wildflowers before the captain cuts the engine and glides into the Keri Caves, where the darkness gives way to chambers lit by shimmering reflections. You'll swim in hidden grottos, the water a supernatural green-blue against the rock walls. Throttling onwards, you reach Marathonisi to snorkel above turtles in crystal-clear shallows. The return trip hugs the Keri Lighthouse promontory — one of Zakynthos's finest viewpoints — and the captain pauses for photographs above the crashing surf.
Good to know
Keri is a 30-minute transfer from the main port — arrange a taxi in advance or ask the operator. Wear a swimsuit and bring a light cover-up; sea-cave ceilings are low and the boat moves fast. Confirm all-aboard time with the operator when booking so a tight schedule can be accommodated.
