Mudjimba Island Turtle Snorkel & Swim — Small-Group Boat Tour

Board a custom 500hp vessel for an intimate small-group snorkel experience around Mudjimba Island, where resident sea turtles glide through gin-clear water mere metres from your mask. One of the Sunshine Coast's most joyful and photogenic encounters.

What to expect

The crossing to Mudjimba Island takes under 20 minutes from Mooloolaba Marina. Once anchored in the sheltered lagoon, guides lead you through healthy coral bommies where green and loggerhead turtles feed and rest. The water temperature is a pleasant 22–26°C year-round. After the snorkel, the vessel skirts the island's coastline for a scenic return — keep an eye out for dolphins, rays, and the occasional reef shark cruising the sandy bottom.
