Camira Sailing Adventure: Racing Yacht to Whitehaven Beach

Sail aboard Camira, one of the world's fastest sailing catamarans and former America's Cup support vessel, to Whitehaven Beach — a bucket-list sail on an iconic racing yacht with a small, convivial group.

What to expect

Step aboard this legendary 24-metre catamaran at Coral Sea Marina and feel her accelerate under full canvas as the crew hoists the sails. The crossing to Whitehaven Beach is exhilarating, with spray on the bow and a skipper who narrates the sailing history of the vessel. Snorkelling gear, a light lunch, and refreshments are provided on board. On the return leg, guests are invited to take the helm or simply recline on the trampoline deck and watch the islands slip by.

Good to know

Departs Coral Sea Marina — arrange a taxi or water taxi from the tender pier in advance. Book directly with Cruise Whitsundays and specify the Camira (not the ferry fleet). This is a weather-dependent sailing experience; in strong winds she goes even faster. Confirm departure time matches your all-aboard schedule.
