Ride Asia's longest cable car to a French hill-station in the clouds, then walk the world-famous Golden Bridge — held aloft by giant stone hands — above a sea of jungle mist. Utterly surreal and entirely unmissable.
What to expect
Your private driver collects you at Chan May and heads for the Trường Sơn foothills above Da Nang. The Sun World cable car — a record-breaker at over 5,000 metres — delivers you to a misty mountain-top French colonial village complete with a mock château, topiary gardens, and a Fantasy Park amusement complex. The Golden Bridge itself, its 150-metre span seemingly cradled by colossal mossy hands, is one of the most photographed structures in Asia and every bit as dramatic in person. Lunch in the hilltop French Village, a wander through the flower garden, and a thrilling descent by cable complete the experience.
Good to know
Ba Na Hills is approx 70 km from Chan May (~1.5 hrs). The park opens at 07:30; early arrival is strongly recommended to beat crowds on the bridge. Bring a light layer — summit temperatures can be 5–8°C cooler than the coast. Book transport at least a week in advance during peak season (Jan–Apr, Jul–Aug).
