uShaka Marine World: Private VIP Shark Dive Experience

Descend into the largest aquarium in the Southern Hemisphere and dive with ragged-tooth sharks, turtles, and rays in a 1.2-million-litre open-ocean tank — the most thrilling marine encounter in Durban, steps from the beach.

What to expect

Check in at the spectacular shipwreck-themed entrance and descend through recreated hull sections to the open-ocean tank. Certified divers enter the 1.2-million-litre tank alongside ragged-tooth (sand tiger) sharks, green turtles, giant rays, and thousands of reef fish with expert Marine World divemasters at your side. Non-divers enjoy spectacular shark-tunnel walkways and the adjacent Wet 'n Wild water park — a full resort experience on Durban's Golden Mile beachfront. The dolphin and seal shows round out the day for families.
