Glide along Virgin Gorda's golden leeward coast aboard a private crewed catamaran at golden hour — swimming the glassy shallows of Savannah Bay and toasting the sunset over the BVI's outer cays with rum cocktails in hand.
What to expect
The catamaran slips its mooring as the afternoon light turns gold, sailing south along the sheltered coast past Spring Bay's boulder fields glowing copper in the late sun. You anchor in the glassy turquoise shallows of Savannah Bay for a final swim — the water here is calf-deep for 100 metres and the colour of liquid glass. Back on deck, your crew serves Painkillers, chilled rosé, and a platter of local cheeses and charcuterie as you watch the sun sink behind Tortola's mountains. It is, by any measure, an unmissable BVI moment.
Good to know
Evening sails work perfectly for ships with a late all-aboard time (8 pm or later); confirm departure times when booking. Departs from Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour. Private charters require advance booking — especially in high season (Dec–Apr).
