Step inside Azienda Agricola Leda d'Ittiri, Sardinia's most acclaimed small-production winery, for a guided estate walk and private tasting of their prized Vermentino di Sardegna and Cannonau — paired with estate olive oil and artisan charcuterie.
What to expect
A short scenic drive through the Nurra hills delivers you to the estate's stone farmhouse, surrounded by Vermentino vines and ancient olive groves. The host leads a walk through the cellars before sitting you down to four to six wines poured in proper sequence, each paired with local honey, pecorino sardo, and house-cured meats. Conversation is unhurried, the setting is intimate, and bottles are available to take aboard ship. This is Sardinian terroir as it should be experienced.
Good to know
The estate is approximately 15 km from Alghero port — arrange a private car or taxi (approx. EUR 25 each way). Email or call the estate ahead of time to book a private slot; availability is very limited in July–August. Allow 2.5–3 hours total including travel.
