What to expect
After pre-registration, you'll pass through security and ride the lift to the spectacular Norman Foster–designed glass dome, where a mirrored cone floods the plenary chamber below with natural light. Registration must be completed online weeks in advance at bundestag.de — slots fill extremely fast. Bring your passport for security checks. Combine with a stroll through the Regierungsviertel (Government Quarter) along the Spree riverbank. Allow 1.5–2 hours on site.
