Walk Australia's most celebrated coastal trail — six kilometres of dramatic cliff tops, secret coves, and ocean pools between Bondi and Coogee — then settle into a private chef-curated picnic overlooking the Pacific. Iconic, elemental, unforgettable.
What to expect
Your guide accompanies you from Bondi Beach — with its famous sweep of white sand and the bronzed surf culture that defines Sydney — south along cliff-top paths that reveal jaw-dropping views at every turn. Rest at the serene Gordons Bay and the historic Clovelly Beach ocean pool before descending to Coogee's broad bay. En route, a cliff-top picnic is laid out: locally smoked salmon, artisan cheeses, seasonal fruit, and chilled Hunter Valley whites or sparkling water, with nothing but ocean horizon before you. The guide shares stories of the Gadigal and Bidjigal peoples whose land this has always been.
Good to know
Transfer from the OPT to Bondi takes approximately 25–30 minutes by taxi or private car. The full walk takes 3–4 hours at a relaxed pace; plan for a 9:00 am departure to allow an easy return by 3:00 pm. Wear comfortable walking shoes and sunscreen; the exposed headlands offer no shade. Daily Sydney Tours can arrange private transport for the return journey from Coogee.
