Cruise Lombok's scenic west-coast Corniche road to Senggigi, pausing at the cliff-perched Batu Bolong sea temple for sunset rituals over the Lombok Strait with Bali's Agung volcano glowing on the horizon. Arguably the most cinematic view in all of Lombok.
What to expect
Your private car hugs the coastline north of Lembar through coconut groves and fishing villages draped in colourful boats, pausing at panoramic viewpoints above the Lombok Strait. At the Hindu sea temple of Batu Bolong, priests prepare their evening offerings as the sun begins its descent, painting the sky above Mount Agung in shades of amber and rose. You'll stop in charming Senggigi village for a fresh coconut before the leisurely return drive south to port.
Good to know
Senggigi is only 25–30 min north of Lembar — the closest bucket-list stop to the port. Dress modestly for the temple (sarong provided). Ideal as an afternoon excursion; time departure to arrive at Batu Bolong 1 hour before sunset. Check all-aboard time and work back when booking.
