Tear across the rust-red Sinai moonscape on a private ATV at sunset, then trade horsepower for a camel to ride into a Bedouin desert camp for an authentic fire-cooked dinner under a sky ablaze with stars. This is the raw, ancient Sinai that most visitors never reach.
What to expect
Your private 4x4 transfer whisks you from the port into the Sinai mountains as the sun begins to drop. At Echo Mountain you mount your ATV and carve across canyon trails dusted in ochre and gold, the sea glittering far below. A short camel ride delivers you to a Bedouin camp where tea brewed on an open fire awaits. Dinner is a slow-cooked tagine, freshly baked bread, and mezze eaten under a sky so dark the Milky Way is unmistakable. A local guide traces the constellations above while sharing the Bedouin legends that name them.
Good to know
This is an evening/sunset excursion — ideal if your ship is in port late. Approx. 5–6 hours. Confirm your all-aboard time is midnight or later, or check if a day-safari version is available. Closed shoes and light layers are essential; the desert cools sharply after dark.
