What to expect
Your guide meets you near the jetty and fits you with snorkel gear before you launch the signature clear-hulled kayaks into the lagoon's glassy shallows. Paddle over living coral that is visible through the kayak floor, then anchor up and free-dive the reef at your own pace. The water clarity here is exceptional — visibility regularly exceeds 20 metres — and the coral formations shelter parrotfish, clownfish, and sea turtles. Guides are local Aneityumese experts who know every bommie and current.
