Plunge into the dazzling coral gardens of the Red Sea — one of the world's top-five snorkelling destinations — on a private half-day boat safari from Obhur Bay, encountering lionfish, parrotfish, and pristine reef systems untouched by mass tourism.
What to expect
Your private RIB departs from the marina at Obhur Bay, 25 minutes north of the city, cutting across electric-blue water to a series of protected reef systems. The water here is bathtub-warm, crystal-clear, and teeming with life: vivid coral bommies, schools of iridescent reef fish, and — if conditions allow — the occasional reef shark or manta ray in the distance. Premium snorkel equipment and wetsuits are provided; a marine naturalist on board narrates the ecosystem. Between dives, chilled refreshments and fresh fruit are served on the boat deck as you drift over the turquoise shallows.
Good to know
Obhur Bay is approximately 25–30 minutes north of the cruise terminal by private transfer (your operator can arrange). Allow 4–5 hours including transfers. Best visibility is in the morning. Confirm all-aboard time carefully — depart port no later than 9:00 AM for a comfortable return. Reef-safe sunscreen only, please. Non-swimmers can enjoy the boat and glass-bottom viewing.
