Lagoon Cruise with Snorkelling & Fresh Fish BBQ: Koka Lagoon

Spend a leisurely half-day cruising Rarotonga's dazzling reef lagoon, snorkelling over coral gardens teeming with tropical fish, then feasting on a freshly grilled catch under a palm-fringed sky. The quintessential Rarotonga afternoon.

What to expect

You glide from Muri Beach aboard a traditional outrigger-style vessel, the lagoon shifting from turquoise to deep cobalt as you move over coral heads. Snorkel stops are chosen on the day for current conditions — expect parrotfish, surgeonfish, and the occasional turtle. Back aboard, the crew fires up the grill and serves freshly caught fish with tropical salads and cold drinks as you drift in the afternoon sun. The mood is joyful and unhurried — very much the Cook Islands at their finest.
