Create your own bespoke cup of instant noodles — choosing broth, toppings, and custom-illustrated packaging — at the world's most delicious museum, a love letter to the invention that changed how the world eats. Quirky, interactive, and quintessentially Japanese.
What to expect
Enter the spaceship-like museum designed to honour Momofuku Ando's 1958 invention of instant noodles — a moment that genuinely altered culinary history. The centrepiece is the My Cup Noodles Factory, where you decorate a blank cup, choose from four soup bases (chicken, seafood, soy sauce, or tonkotsu), and customise with four toppings from 12 options — then watch it sealed and shrink-wrapped before your eyes. The Noodles Bazaar food hall offers ramen from eight Asian countries. The Chicken Ramen Factory allows you to hand-make noodles from wheat flour, just as Ando did in his backyard shed.
Good to know
The museum is a 7-minute walk from Minato Mirai station or 20 minutes on foot from Osanbashi terminal. Open 10:00am–6:00pm; closed Tuesdays. The My Cup Noodles Factory workshop can sell out — reserve your slot online or arrive right at opening. Allow 2–3 hours total; ideal as part of a Minato Mirai half-day.
