What to expect
After a brief tack-up and mount orientation, your guide leads you along elevated farm tracks and woodland bridleways above the island's south coast, with sweeping views across the Atlantic and the patchwork of green pasture. Dairy cows graze below cloud-streaked craters; the air is laced with pine and sea salt. The guide adapts the route to your experience level — a gentle walk through meadows or a more spirited canter along the ridge for confident riders. Arrival back at the stable includes local refreshments.

Book the 2-hour morning slot to be back at port comfortably. Closed-toe shoes required; the stable provides helmets. A 15–20 minute taxi from the pier (approx. EUR 15 each way).
