Pamukkale Cotton Castles & Hierapolis Private Day Tour

Witness the surreal snow-white travertine terraces of Pamukkale — a UNESCO World Heritage site — and walk the sacred ruins of ancient Hierapolis above them. This is one of Turkey's most jaw-dropping natural and historical double-acts, tackled entirely in private.

What to expect

Depart Çeşme early in a premium private vehicle for the ~2.5 hr drive inland to Pamukkale. Arriving ahead of tour buses, you'll have the ethereal calcium-white terraces almost to yourself, the turquoise thermal pools glittering in morning light. Your guide then leads you through Hierapolis — the Necropolis, the Roman theatre, and the sacred Plutonium — before a leisurely lunch of Aegean flavours. The return drive brings you back to Çeşme port with time to spare.

Good to know

This is a long day — expect ~10–11 hrs door to door. Depart no later than 07:30 to fit comfortably before a typical evening all-aboard. Bring a swimsuit to wade the terraces, and sandals you don't mind getting wet. Pre-booking is essential as private vehicle slots fill quickly in peak season.
