Set sail from Çeşme on a private or small-group traditional Turkish gulet, gliding to hidden coves and turquoise bays around the peninsula. Swim in crystal Aegean waters, snorkel over ancient submerged ruins, and feast on a freshly grilled BBQ lunch aboard.
What to expect
The gulet departs Çeşme marina and traces the rugged coastline past Donkey Island and the Ege peninsula, dropping anchor in a succession of impossibly blue coves. You'll swim and snorkel directly off the boat, with the crew handing up cold towels and drinks. By midday the BBQ is fired up on deck — grilled sea bream, calamari, village salads, and chilled local wine. The afternoon is a sun-drenched drift back to port, arriving well before all-aboard.
Good to know
Boats depart Çeşme marina at approximately 10:00 and return by 17:00 — confirm timing against your all-aboard. For a truly private experience, charter the whole gulet for your group. Bring sunscreen, a hat, and a swimsuit. Motion-sickness tablets recommended if the Aegean is choppy in shoulder season.
