Crystal & Fantasy Caves: Bermuda's Hidden Underworld

Descend into two of the world's most spectacular limestone caverns, where crystal-clear subterranean pools mirror stalactites formed over 30 million years. An otherworldly, bucket-list natural wonder found nowhere else on earth.

What to expect

A pontoon bridge floats you over the luminous underground lake of Crystal Cave while your guide narrates the geology and the 1905 discovery story. Fantasy Cave next door is more intimate — a cathedral of delicate helictites and pale blue pools. The temperature drops pleasantly underground, a welcome respite on a warm Bermuda day. Combined, both caves take around 90 minutes to explore properly.

Good to know

Caves are in Hamilton Parish, roughly 45 minutes by taxi from Kings Wharf (approx. USD 35–40 each way) or take the ferry to Hamilton and a short cab ride. Book timed entry online to avoid queues; wear non-slip shoes as pathways are damp. Allow half a day to do both caves comfortably and return before all-aboard.
