Descend into the Pulpí Geode — a cathedral-sized cavity lined with selenite crystals up to 2 metres long, ranking among the geological wonders of the planet. Entry is strictly controlled and timed, making this one of Spain's most exclusive natural experiences.
What to expect
A short transfer (~1 hour from port) delivers you to the semi-arid mining town of Pulpí. A geologist guide escorts you through a series of mine tunnels before you emerge into the geode itself: a 10-metre-long, 2-metre-high egg of perfect gypsum crystals. The temperature plunges to 18°C and the silence is absolute — prepare to be awestruck.
Good to know
Entry slots are released months in advance and sell out fast; book the official timed ticket at geodepulpi.es immediately upon knowing your port date. Arrange a private driver from the port (~EUR 60–80 round-trip for the car). Bring a light layer — it is cool inside.
