Walk the very desert sets where Sergio Leone filmed 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly' and Clint Eastwood became a legend — Fort Bravo is a fully preserved Western frontier town in the spectacular Tabernas Desert, Europe's only true desert.
What to expect
The Tabernas Desert unfolds like a John Ford landscape, 30 minutes from port. At Fort Bravo, dusty main streets, a saloon, a sheriff's office, and a Mexican cantina are all meticulously maintained as working film sets. Live gunfight shows and horseback displays fill the day; knowledgeable staff share behind-the-scenes stories of Leone, Eastwood, and the dozens of classics filmed here.
Good to know
Allow 2.5–3 hours on site; combine with a scenic Tabernas Desert drive. A taxi or private transfer from the port is approximately EUR 20–25 each way. Check the Fort Bravo website for show times before you visit — performances run at set hours.
