SS Rotterdam Historic Ship Tour: Behind the Scenes of a Legend

Board the glorious SS Rotterdam — the 'Grande Dame' of the Holland America Line — for an immersive guided tour of her lavish Art Deco and modernist interiors, engine room, and storied decks. A once-in-a-lifetime step back into the golden age of ocean travel.

What to expect

Step aboard the 1959-built flagship that carried millions across the Atlantic and feel the elegance of mid-century ocean travel restored to perfection. The guided tour weaves through the grand ballroom, the intimate smoking lounge, original officer quarters, and deep into the thundering engine room — a cathedral of pistons and polished brass. Coffee, tea, and a Dutch pastry are served in the original first-class dining room. The presentation beforehand, complete with archival footage, sets the scene magnificently.
