What to expect
The soaring glass-roofed Neptune Court is a jaw-dropping arrival moment. The uniform coat Nelson wore when he was shot at Trafalgar — the musket-ball hole still visible — is among the most arresting artefacts in any British museum. The Queen's House, a Palladian gem by Inigo Jones, connects directly to the museum and is free to enter.
