Raise a glass at Parissis Winery, Skiathos's only estate winery, tucked into the island's forested interior. A private guided tour of the vineyard and cellar leads to an intimate seated tasting of their rare small-batch wines — accompanied by local honey, cheese and charcuterie.
What to expect
A short taxi or jeep ride from the port delivers you to cool cellars carved into the hillside, fragrant with oak and the island's distinctive volcanic soil. The tasting moves through crisp Assyrtiko-style whites, a floral Moschofilero and a rich, pine-tinged red — all estate-bottled. Local honey from hives on the property, aged graviera cheese and island-cured meats accompany each pour. The terrace view over forested hillsides to the Aegean is a fitting finale before the return to port.
Good to know
Tastings run 10:00–13:00 and fit comfortably within port hours. Taxis from the Old Port take roughly 15 minutes. Advance reservation strongly recommended for the private tour; walk-ins accepted for the standard tasting when available. Designated-driver or non-drinker options available.
