Spend a blissful day anchored off Samos's secret islets, swimming in crystalline Aegean water, snorkelling vibrant reefs, and feasting on a freshly prepared Greek lunch on deck. This is the Aegean at its most untouched.
What to expect
Transfer from the cruise port to the harbour where your traditional wooden caïque awaits. The boat calls at the tiny uninhabited island of Samiopoula for deep-water swimming and snorkelling before heading to the turquoise sea-cave inlet of Kakorema. Lunch — grilled fish, salads, local bread and Samian wine — is laid out on deck between swims. The pace is blissfully unhurried throughout the 8–9 hour journey.
Good to know
Runs daily in season (May–October). Bring sun protection, a light cover-up, and water shoes. Confirm your ship's all-aboard time and ensure the tour's return-transfer timing aligns with it — the operator is accustomed to cruise schedules.
