Stintino's La Pelosa is consistently rated among Europe's most beautiful beaches — a shallow, luminous turquoise lagoon ringed by white sand and a 16th-century Aragonese tower. A private guided experience adds snorkelling and a seaside aperitivo.
What to expect
Your private guide collects you at the port and drives the scenic coastal road to Stintino (30 min). At La Pelosa, the gin-clear waters are barely waist-deep and kaleidoscopically vivid — mask and fins reveal parrotfish, sea bream and octopus beneath the surface. The adjacent Aragonese watchtower provides a photogenic backdrop and a short cultural detour. As the midday sun peaks, your guide arranges a shaded aperitivo table with local Vermentino, bottarga-topped bruschetta and Sardinian almond pastries.
Good to know
La Pelosa now operates a daily entry cap (reserve the timed entry ticket in advance via the Comune di Stintino — approx. EUR 3.50 Apr–Oct). The beach gets very busy Jul–Aug; arrive by 09:30 to secure the best water. Porto Torres port to Stintino is 30 min by car. Confirm your guide's return time allows 45 min buffer before all-aboard.
