What to expect
You board at the Fisketorget (Fish Market) and sail out through Byfjorden before threading into the Osterfjord's jaw-dropping scenery. The narrows at Mostraumen are dramatic — steep granite walls plunge into dark water while cascades drop from above. Wildlife spotting (white-tailed eagles, seals) is a highlight. The pace is unhurried, allowing long lingering views and photography without the crowds of larger boats.
