Private Liveaboard Dive: Kokas & Triton Bay Seamounts

Descend into the deep blue of Triton Bay's world-famous seamounts on a private day charter — a site regularly cited among the top ten dive locations on the planet, teeming with wobbegong sharks, schooling trevally, and endemic soft coral gardens.

What to expect

You board a purpose-built dive vessel at Kokas, briefed by an internationally certified divemaster who has logged hundreds of hours on these specific seamounts. The first dive drops you onto Cenderawasih's famous coral pinnacles, where nurse sharks rest on ledges and giant trevally orbit in silver spirals. A surface interval over a hot lunch of fresh grilled fish gives way to a second dive at a shallower reef wall festooned with bubble coral and juvenile fish in extraordinary density. Post-dive, cold towels and fresh fruit await topside.

Good to know

Advanced Open Water certification or equivalent required; minimum 30 logged dives recommended. Confirm your certification level when booking. Equipment rental available but serious divers should bring their own regulators. Book at least 3–4 months ahead — private charters from Kokas fill quickly around cruise season.
