Aquaventure is a solid, large-scale water park attached to the Atlantis resort on Paradise Island. Expect a full day of slides, a long lazy river with rapids and small drops, wave pools, and plenty of splash zones. The rides range from mild to genuinely thrilling; the Predator ride and the big drop slides get your heart going. There are enough lifeguards that it feels safe even when it's busy. It gets crowded, especially when multiple cruise ships are in port, so the queues for the best slides can stretch to 30-45 minutes in peak season. The whole place is well-maintained but expensive once you factor in food and drinks inside the park.
Best time to go is December through April when the weather is most reliable, but avoid peak cruise-ship days if possible. Expect to pay around $250–$350 per person for a day pass including transportation from the Nassau cruise port or hotel; kids are cheaper. If you're on a cruise, the excursion price is usually similar. Honest tip: buy the day pass and go early; skip the cabana rental unless you have small kids who need a base. Also skip the overpriced food inside if you can – eat a big breakfast before you arrive and leave for a late lunch.
