Ferrari World Abu Dhabi: Worth It?

Ferrari World is a big, loud indoor theme park built around Ferrari branding. Expect fast rollercoasters (including one of the world's quickest), simulators, a surprisingly decent kids' area, and lots of retail. It's fully air-conditioned, which matters in Abu Dhabi. The park is smaller than the giant Orlando parks so you can realistically do most rides in 5-7 hours if queues aren't terrible. It's more about thrill rides and nostalgia for car fans than immersive theming or shows.

Best time is November to March when it's cooler outside; inside it doesn't matter much but you'll enjoy the walk from the car or bus more. Expect to pay around $80–$130 for a standard one-day ticket. Add $40–70 per person if you want the faster-access pass that cuts queuing on the big rides. Transport from Dubai or central Abu Dhabi adds another $30–60 round-trip depending on group size.

Honest tips: Get the fast-track option if you only have one day – the main coaster lines can easily eat two hours on busy days. Skip the overpriced sit-down restaurants inside and eat at the food court or outside the park. If your group has mixed ages or thrill tolerance, it's better as a half-day add-on to Yas Island rather than a full standalone destination.
