Janjira Fort Boat Trip from Mumbai: Worth It?

It’s not a luxury experience — the boats are functional, the fort is mostly ruins with no shade, and you’ll share the space with day-trippers. On a clear day the views of the Arabian Sea and the fort rising straight from the water are genuinely striking.

Best time is November to early March when the sea is calmer and the sun isn’t brutal. Avoid monsoon (June–September) — boats often stop running and the swell makes the ride unpleasant.
