You'll spend a lot of time walking through elaborate LEGO models, Miniland USA, and smaller play areas. It's genuinely fun for young children but can feel limited if your kids are teenagers or you're traveling without kids. Crowds are manageable on weekdays, but it still gets hot and tiring in the California sun.

Best time to visit is spring (March–May) or fall (September–early November) when temperatures are pleasant and lines are shorter. Summer is busy and hot; winter weekdays can be surprisingly quiet but some rides may close for maintenance.
