You’ll blast around the harbor at 40+ knots, hit some decent bumps, get sprayed, and see the skyline, Navy ships, and waterfront from water level. The shorter 30-minute jet boat rides are high-energy and repetitive; the longer 2-hour “harbor adventure” options combine speed sections with slower sightseeing. Expect wind, engine noise, and a fair bit of bouncing. It’s a thrill ride first, a scenic tour second. Kids usually love it; adults who get motion sick often don’t.

Best time is late spring through early fall (May–October). Summer weekends are busiest and hottest; September and October usually give you warm air, cooler water, and smaller crowds. Avoid December–February unless you don’t mind gray skies and choppy water.
