Acropolis Museum

Athens
Book this experience →

The Acropolis Museum houses archaeological finds exclusively from the Athenian Acropolis and its slopes, including masterpieces such as the Parthenon sculptures, kore statues, and temple artifacts spanning from the Archaic period through the end of antiquity. Visitors explore multiple gallery levels organized chronologically and by monument, culminating in a third-floor Parthenon Gallery specially designed to display the sculptures of the Parthenon. The museum is uniquely built atop and incorporates the ruins of an ancient neighborhood, allowing visitors to view both artifacts and archaeological excavations within the same structure.
