The National Afro-Peruvian Museum is dedicated to preserving and exhibiting objects related to the history of African descendants in Peru, housed in the House of the Thirteen Coins. The museum features nine permanent exhibition halls displaying artifacts from the beginnings of the African slave trade in Latin America through the colonial period to the early Republic.
