Al Wathba Wetland Reserve is a protected area established by Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, featuring natural and man-made lakes that support over 250 bird species, including populations of up to 4,000 Greater Flamingos during autumn and spring. Visitors can explore two self-guided walking trails and use a bird-watching hide to observe the diverse aquatic wildlife that thrives in this former coastal salt flat.
